How Transplant Has Affected  My Life: Though I'm a male, I consider this kidney 'My Baby'

Except for a severe reaction (nearly died) to the experimental drug ALG six days after the transplant and a weird reaction five weeks later every kidney function has gone so well that I sometimes nearly forget for several days about it. It has taken me through 17 surgeries for joint/prostheses and revisions, with nary a sputter..
